What’s Summer without a Slip-n-Slide?
Really, summer just wouldn’t be complete without one. Back in the day we didn’t have slip-n-slides; we had black garbage bags staked in the ground with tent stakes with the sprinkler spraying on them!

I Heart Faces – Pets
How in the world could I possibly pick a favorite picture of a recent or past pet? It has proven to be almost as painful as picking a favorite picture of one of my children. So, I’m taking the easy way out and picking another “pet” picture that I have no attachment to personally but it’s still a neat photo.
I hope you had an easier time picking a pet picture than I did!

My Favorite Picture (For Now)
What do you see in the reflection in his eyes? I am in LOVE with this picture and what it says about him!

Teenagers Get Cannonballed
These two teenagers are hard workers who are taking a well-deserved break. They help coach a summer swim team that practices M-F mornings from 7-11, has two afternoon/evening swim meets a week and one evening swim clinic a week. On top of it all, they subject themselves to being splashed by young swimmers' cannon balls on "Free Fridays". Kudos to hard-working teenagers everywhere!

Sunflower Field in Summer
There’s a sunflower field I pass everyday. A friend had stopped to take pictures of them. I followed her lead. I need to stop and “smell the roses” more often. We actually stopped there twice to compare the different natural lighting. The first was around 1 PM and the second stop was around 8:30 PM.
Hope you’ve enjoyed the sunflowers as much as I have!
