After reading several posts about the importance of watermarking photos, I have decided to start doing it. I was hesitant because I did not want to appear like I think my shots are the bomb and therefore watermark them because people were just dying to get their hands on them. Now, however, I see it a little differently. I don’t want to be like the family who saw themselves in an Ikea ad and they had no idea that their picture was being used by anyone, much less a major company.

Have a wonderful week!

That dark blue sky is amazing, and I love all the gorgeous colored threads. Lovely collection.
ReplyDeleteHow clever your before and after...great. I also love your skein of yarn. I'm glad you're watermarking. I took a class last spring and the instructor said anything that went on the web should be watermarked. I guess people snag images all the time. I never thought of it as "all that". Glad your smarts have over stepped your ego. Your images are certainly well done enough for someone to steal.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely set. I enjoyed your interpretation of before and after, and as a knitter your first shot grabbed my eye. Happy Sunday.
