I Heart Faces – Fix-it Friday #54

I’m bummed. My PSE 8 trial is over and I’m back to Photoscape for the time being. So since I can’t do what I wanted to do (enhance the eyes, sharpen just the colors on the tie, etc) I’ve done a silly edit.

I Learned Something New!

I learned something new today! Since I know I'm stuck with my point and shoot until I save up the money for a better camera, I've decided to learn all I can about the camera I DO have. Today, I found the continuous mode! In celebration of this, I made a few animated gifs. Fun stuff! I can't wait to use this mode more often!

Isle of Palms Before/After Using PhotoScape

Spring has sprung! We decided to take a little road trip (just two hours) to Isle of Palms. Nearly 80 degrees was the high and there was not a cloud in the sky. The gentle breeze kissed my face while I relaxed in my comfy beach chair.

I played with some of the 196 pictures I took. Here are the results. I wish I could tell you step-by-step what I did to alter the images, but I was just playing around.

I waste so much time messing with these pics. It's so rewarding though seeing the change from a blah picture to a pretty cool looking image.

PhotoScape Pics

I really want Photoshop or PS Elements. But, right now I'm settling for a free program called PhotoScape. It'll get me through this hump without PS.
