Project Pinterest: Easy Saltine Cracker Toffee Recipe

I LOVE easy. I love chocolate! I love recipes whose ingredients I always have on hand. So, it's no wonder that  this recipe is a new favorite of mine! I found the recipe on The Girl Who Ate Everything blog and pinned it immediately! Who wouldn't LOVE these toffee bars?

Tip
Junkie handmade projects

The recipe from The Girl Who Ate Everything's blog is

40 salted saltine crackers or enough to line your pan

1 cup unsalted butter

1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate chips
(optional) 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Please go check out her blog for all of the easy instructions. I followed them to a "T". You'll LOVE it, I just know it!

What have you made from a pin? Can't wait to see it!

  1. I make something similar with white sugar and it's been a hit for years.People ask me for it all the time. I've never tried it with nuts either. Interesting!! We call it Brutzel Bars. I have given the recipe out at parties a lot....people actually write it down right then and there. It's a winner!

  2. This has been a favorite in my family for at least 40 years - I'm 46 and we've made it since I was little. My mom and one of her friends also make it from graham crackers , and I've also seen it made with matzo. Easy and good, made with a just a few items we usually have on hand.
