Okay. I have to come clean here.
Confession time right now.
Are you ready for the news?
It's big people, really big.
I have barely picked up my camera at all this week. I don't know why I haven't, I just haven't. Some weeks are like that I guess. I didn't even complete my 29 Days with Chewbacca. Nothing bad (or good) is going on here, so there's really no reason I haven't picked up my camera.
Have no fear though, I'm still going to share with you a few things I found inspiring on Pinterest this week and recreated them.
I made cheesy garlic bread from Lauren's Latest blog and it was A-MAZING! It got RAVE REVIEWS from the family. Of course it would because it's cheese and it's garlic and it was bread, but it was really TASTY! You MUST try this recipe this week. Seriously, it was that tasty!
I also made Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches from the Favorite Family Recipes blog and again, they were A-MAZING! Believe it or not, there was not even one complaint from any family member about these deelish sandwiches! They will be a staple here, for sure!
Since apparently I'm on a food kick, I'll tell you that I tried a version of this recipe with grape soda and it was DISGUSTING!!! Believe me, if there is cake around, I will eat it. This cake has been sitting in the refrigerator for days and NO ONE will even eat it. It's actually quite surprising how gross the grape cake tastes. I thought it would be refreshing, but it was just a horrible, horrible dessert. Mark my words, never again will I ever say "horrible" and "dessert" again in the same sentence!
So, that's all from my lame week. Next week I'll be back on my A(-) game!
Here are the guidelines for Project
Pinterest:
1. Decide which pin on Pinterest you’d like to recreate.
2. Create it!
3. Flop or success, create a blog post about your re-do and
include the original pin’s url.
4. Add the Project Pinterest button to your post so others can
join in too!
5. Link up and check out other bloggers’ posts!
I have weeks like that too, sometimes you just don't want to take pictures, but then your mojo comes back! Grape cake sounds like a good idea, but I'm totally going to take your advice and not try it!
ReplyDeleteOh my -- good to know about the grape soda, because I can just hear my daughter saying, "Mama, what do you think about trying that recipe w/ GRAPE?" (Now I know the correct answer! NO!) LOL
ReplyDeleteSome days/weeks are like that. I feel like I'm drowning or I'm too exhausted to even think. At least there's always Pinterest. ;-)
