I’m participating in “Memories, Dreams and Reflections 2010” on Ashley Sisk’s blog. Going through the archives (ok, really just the last couple of months because of the hard drive issue) and previous blog posts was lots of fun. I debated back and forth on about every image and know as soon as I click “publish” I’ll want to change some, or most, of them. But, that’s ok because it’s been great to go back and look at 2010 in pictures.
Happy new year ya’ll!
Me
My favorite part of myself is my eyes. I’m proud that I’ve survived this year under a few pretty rough circumstances. Life can be tough, but minute by minute, day by day, we’ll get by!
I Love You
Of course I love my family, but I love PAALS dogs too. Service dogs rock!
Still Laughing…
Nothing’s more funny to two boys than both of their zippers being down at the same time. This picture cracks me up every time I look at it.
Winter Wonderland
This is not your typical winter shot, but it is a winter shot. I’ve posted it several times, but I just can’t get enough of it.
Birthday
I turned the big thirty-five this year and had a totally frosting-heavy cake and loved every bite of it.
Friends
Charlie’s BFF moved a few weeks ago. I’m so glad we have pictures like this so they can remember their wonderful friendship.
I Was Inspired...
to keep taking pictures of this stunning sky.
Spring Fever
Do you know what that beautiful pod will turn in to? A bunch of bananas! Spring is such a time of rebirth. It is such a refreshing time.
Vacation
This was the second year we went to the Emerald Coast (panhandle of Florida). The clear water and peaceful place where we stay are so relaxing and calming. I think I’ll start planning our trip there for this summer.
Summer Days
Water, water, water. Since we live in the “famously hot” city, we are always either in the water or indoors in the summer.
A Day In My Life
Looking upward, thanking God for His gifts, asking for His strength to come upon me and others, is part of my daily life.
All Smiles
You know how it feels when your face literally hurts from so much smiling? That’s exactly how I felt at Ryan’s 2nd grade Christmas performance. It was seriously that cute!
Autumn
We had a beautiful long fall this year. I love that most of the fall we’re still in t-shirts and flip-flops.
Family
These two boys (plus my husband) are my family. I know you knew that, but I just wanted to state the obvious. ;)
Celebrate!
Every Saturday night here at Mt. Horeb United Methodist church is a celebration. We go to the contemporary service and have the most amazingly gifted praise band that makes worshiping like a celebration.
Let's Do It Again...
This is the day it hailed. The boys had so much fun and were so intrigued by the hail. I love to see them laugh together like this.
I Miss You
Oh summer, how I miss you so! You are so green and have such amazing things to photograph.
Beautiful
The way the sun is shining right through this leaf is just so beautiful.
Dress Up
My little clone trooper (or is it storm trooper or Commander Rex or…) is waiting patiently to start trick or treating.
Macro
The detail of this caterpillar awes me.
Holidays
Our tree is heavily decorated with ornaments the boys have made. Part of me would really like to have a grown-up, beautifuully decorated tree, but this has so much more meaning for us.
My Favorite
There were too many favorites to really just pick one. I chose this picture of the SC State Fair because we always have such a great time there every year.
Don't Ever Change
Just Because...So There!
Technically a bad shot, but look at that smile!! Seriously, it doesn’t get much cuter than that!
Hopes and Dreams
See that little glimpse of a rainbow? My hope for 2011 is that we all see a bit more of that rainbow!
Stop by Ashley’s beautiful blog for more “Memories, Dreams and Reflections”.
