I've managed to damage each one of these in a major way the past few months.
First it was the camera fling that rendered my camera useless. Then it was the van's computer dying causing the van to die in the middle of the road. Now my laptop has died and the hard drive's files are not retrievable (unless I fork over thousands of dollars).
Out of the many lessons I've learned from these pesky annoyances, this is the most important: never again buy a stinkin' warranty. Literally weeks or months after it expires, the product (camera, van, computer) will get broken or die and you'll have no remaining warranty and you'll be so mad that your warranty just expired that you'll want to cry.
If you're like me, you will cry about it.
Did I mention that a similar situation occured with my phone after having it for 13 months (the warranty ran out at one year)?
I must have the opposite of the Midas touch when dealing with anything electronic. Please send some positive electronic thoughts my way! I can't afford to break anything else!
