The boys and I were looking at old actual photographs tonight. Memories flooded in. If you knew Ryan when he was a baby or toddler, you knew that he was not a very happy camper. He was painfully shy and extremely clingy, whiny and all around unpleasant. Now, you're thinking....how can a mom say that about her child? Well, let me tell you what. I am alive today to tell about it, so as a testament to the awesome kid Ryan is today, so help me God, that baby was a H-A-N-D-F-U-L!
These pictures were all taken in MN at Grandma and Grandpa's house in summer of '05. If I could remember the photograper, I would credit him with the images, but can't, so I won't. ****Just found out. It's Dave Philp. He won an award at the county fair for a picture of Ryan. I will have to post that some day.***
Exhibit A: Can you spot the child who is not at all happy to be in this photo?
In case you didn't find it on your own, please see the turquoise oval. That's Ryan.
Exhibit B: Because there is a sea of faces in this photo, it might be hard to tell which one is just not happy. Can you spot him?
Did you find the ONLY one not smiling? If not, look in the turquoise oval.
Exhibit C: Notice how everyone, except Grandpa I suppose, looks happy?
Ryan looks like he's at a funeral. If you didn't spot him, he's in the turquoise oval.
Exhibit D: One last one with just the grandparents. I think you'll be able to spot this one!
If not, grumpy boy is in the turquoise oval!
I just love this picture of us that was taken this day and thought it was too cute to not share!
Now you've seen it with your own two eyes what a grumpster Ryan was.
Today, Ryan rocks! He is a hysterical, happy, loving, intelligent, caring and wonderful son! He just decided to get all of his grumpiness out of the way the first two years of his life (ok, well 3.75 years to be exact!).
Thanks for reading!
