First Scavenger Hunt Sunday of 2011

This is Me
As you can see, it’s not really me. But, it is something that is a part of me. Throughout my history on the planet, I have always loved when glass bends the sunlight. The prismatic colors always just make me smile.

Resolutions
I don’t really do resolutions (because I’ve proven to myself over the years I don’t keep them), but there’s one thing that I am forever trying to do. That’s cut down on foods like this. Seriously though, I think I’d give my right eye to have this pizza now!

Treasured
Ok, maybe I wouldn’t give my right eye for that pizza. That’s the one part of my body that works well! I treasure my 20/20 eyesight and hope to never have to get glasses!

Innocence
This guy sees no evil in this world. He has a pure heart and is oblivious to the darkness of this world. I love his innocence and pray he can hang on to it for a good long time.

Primitive
This protractor is a primitive measurement tool. Google told me it was invented by Joseph Huddart, a US Naval Captain, in 1801.

Have a great week everyone! Thanks for all the comment love. Ya’ll rock!

  1. I came over here to ask you to send me your address, and lucked out on a post that hasn't hit my google reader yet! I love your innocence shot and the sentiment behind it. I'm slightly resentful that you have 20/20 vision though. Only slightly :)

Email me your address when you have a chance for your homemade item (not like I'll send it anytime soon, but you know, just in case), readingallowed at gmail.

Totally jealous over you not wearing glasses too, wish I could say the same. :)

I never understood a protractor way back when, not exactly sure how to use it now. Hmmm...I'm a homeschooler now, is that bad?!?!

  8. Great interpretations - I especially love the processing on the last shot. Very cool. There's no way I'll be making a resolution to eat less pizza any time soon. I love it too much.

  15. I am with you on the resolutions. It is easier for me to keep them if I don't set them as resolutions, if that makes sense.

20/20 vision and all my teeth --that's what I'd want to keep! The thought of having to wear dentures kinda freaks me out. =)
